Foreclosure Friday night Flash January 8 2010

foreclosure 2Sorry, I am so late getting the Flash out today. A funny thing happened on the way to making the Flash this week. I sat down last night to put the final touches on this week’s episode and found that I was missing  a huge chunk of film. Obviously, I wasn’t filming when I thought I was. Anyway, I had to reshoot this a.m. and then finish the editing. If you’re interested in receiving Bank Owned Weekly, then click on the appropriate link – West End, Glen Allen, or Midlothian.

Here’s the 2nd episode of Foreclosure Friday Flash for 1-8-10.

1st love note of the year to Warner and Webb

webb and warner

Gosh, it’s the 6th of January and I haven’t written our two illustrious Senators yet!?!? Well, let’s not waste any more time. Here’s my first note of the New Year:

“That the Democratic leadership has refused C Span’s request to televise the reconciliation process of the Senate’s and House’s healthcare bills is unconscionable. Where is the transparency promised by the Democratic leadership and this President. I am deeply distressed that you supported the Senate version of the healthcare bill which contained portions that cannot be repealed. This is unconstitutional. I suggest you pay close attention to events at the state Capitol on January 18, 2010. It will provide you with the insight to gauge the mood of your constituents and what your chances of continuing as a representative of the Commonwealth are.”

By the way, there is a rally at the state Capitol on Monday, January 18th. This is MLK Day, so most of you should be off. Call it a Tea Bag event, a 9-12 event, or even a Patriot event, but regardless it is a great way to show your dissatisfaction with all of our representation whether it’s at the state or national level.  I plan on taking GRTC from one of the satellite parking lots. Anyone want to join me?

My Annual Resolution

hardee“Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual.”   Mark Twain

Well, it’s that time of year again. Time for me to make my regular resolution to loose weight. Last year, I was doing pretty well until about August. About that time, I started to work with a new client who was a good ole boy from Georgia. If we were out looking at property anywhere near lunch time, we inevitably ended up at Hardee’s. Also in August, I changed offices, which meant a Hardee’s was along my morning route to the office. And since Hardee’s was running their 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuit special for $2.50 then and until just recently, my will power was insufficient not to stop in. My weight has been slowly climbing ever since fueled by 2 biscuits in the morning and too often a 2 for $3 Big Twin deal at lunch. Boy, that Hardee’s is addictive!

This year I feel like I might have a fighting chance in my perpetual weight battle. The Hardee’s which was along my morning route closed last week. Whether it will reopen, I don’t know; but for now one temptation has been removed. Besides it is just getting too hard to carry all this excess weight, so my weight resolution is once more in play. I’ll let you know when I starting paving hell with good intentions.
